A Little history

The Jefferson St. Music Studio occupies a space which has been fine-tuned for recording for twenty years. It was first opened as Echo Park Studio B, then White Arc, then Sleepwalk Studios, then Shuttershock Productions. Along the way the engineers involved have improved the space in numerous ways.

We employ a deluxe double-walled vocal booth, a vast main tracking room, and two smaller rooms all with modular sound dampening installations. Each room has been fitted with an XLR/TRS panel which routes microphones and headphone lines into the control room.
